You didn't mention that 115 moved with the same speed that your warm up sets with 85-lbs did. The 120 miss was a fluke, a brain fart
So take a bigger chance. Go balls out for 120 right off the bat.
This, don't feel bad about not getting a PR after doing all your normal worksets.

^^ That's unfortunate.
What did he say?
Based on my symptoms, the nausea and severe headaches, he said I suffered from a concussion. I also have some strained muscles in my neck. I told him that I lift and that benching made the pain worse and he said anything that creates that pressure around my neck will cause me a lot of pain for the next few weeks. He said its not necessarily dangerous, but it could be and not worth the risk. He also said if my symptoms get worse or unusual, I should see a neurologist.
I fucking hate concussions!
I would take his advice. Its not worth the risk. Get better WC!
Thanks Nurse! I've never had a concussion before this. Have you? The headaches are the worstttttt.
Yeah, I know I'm good for 120+ paused. I think I was just fatigued from all the previous sets.
No, but I have been around plenty of guys who have an didn't stop to get better and ended up worse off for it...
Definitely fatigued. The 115 went up so fast it looked like you were good for 10lbs more!
Your brain is a milkshake...
How's the head?
Notes: I started 5/3/1 today. I haven't done it in a while and I think it might be the solution to my lazy problem. Its easy to scale back if I'm not feeling it and I can push it on days that I do have more energy.
Since I'm doing landscaping right now, this is one big reason why I love 5/3/1.
