Notes: I had a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day.

I had to go to court a few days ago to plead not guilty to a minor traffic violation, left paying a $90 ticket which I wasn't expecting. This led to my rent check bouncing today. Then, I get in my car to run an errand and get away from the stress and see that all of the stuff in my car has been thrown about. Someone robbed me again. Stole my GPS. I hate New York and I hate people.

But I love squats and pushing PRs. The barbell never lets me down.

Fuck, maybe it's not too late to change states of preference for my move..

Tell Steve to come out here! There's like, zero crime or some junk. I seriously can't believe this shit happened to you again.

I skimmed. I saw the PR, I didn't see what came after. That sucks, I'm sorry WC.

Congrats on the PR, WC !

Thanks belph!

Yeah, seriously. New York blows. It's expensive to live here and it's full of d-bags. I'm also a dingus and don't lock my car and leave valuables out to be stolen all the time.

I am all for moving anywhere, however, I need to finish my Master's here. It's going to take me at least one more year unfortunately. I'd finish it somewhere else but people make a big hype about people who get their teaching degree from NY. blah blah blah

Places I'm interested in moving to:

New Hampshire
Colorado
Texas
whoever will hire me

Blahh I hear you. I'll probably still end up there anyway...on Long Island. With my doors locked ;)

Colorado would be nice for the variety of outdoor stuff and New Hampshire I know nothing of.

If you want some basic info on anywhere I'm your man :D been to 47 states, most of them a lot, been traveling around the country for the last 10 years

I lived on Long Island for majority of my life and had never, ever been robbed or had anything stolen from me. Although Steve told me where you might be moving to...might be a different story.

Why did you travel so much?? For work or personal?

I'm really just looking for a place to move to that is not crazy expensive, has mountains and a job for me. Ready, set, GO!

Both, I worked for a couple moving companies, lived in Ohio, Arizona, Nevada, and now Tennessee. Also done a lot of road trips to cities or national parks, been to 31 NP's in the US.

Personally if I had to choose from your list I would say Boulder, Colorado

That's awesome! Goon and I lived in Yellowstone NP a few summers back. Best summer of my life for sure.

I'll look into Boulder! I think it won as the top 100 places to live in the U.S. Must be a good place!

Lived in? Did you work there for a summer?

Thanks belph!

Sorry about the robbery. I know this isn't as expensive as a GPS but someone stole the back tire off my bike, while it was locked up. It pissed me off to holy hell.

Texas is a fun place, especially Austin. But it is a bit expensive here in Austin and we have our fair share of d bags here. I'm actually moving out of here later this year.

Yep, we worked there as room cleaners. The actual job was the worst I've ever had but living in Yellowstone for three months made up for it. We saw grizzlies and bison every single day and went on the most amazing hikes!

Sorry to hear about your troubles, WC. Great work in the gym nonetheless!

Thanks squatsquat! The gym is the only thing keeping me from going completely ape shit lol

I had a bike stolen once too...I found the guy though and told him to get the fuck off my bike. He did, but threw it across cement. I have REALLY bad luck! (and I make really poor decisions)

Where are you moving to??

wow that's awesome, in terms of sheer quantity of things to do yellowstone is hard to beat, I'm more of a "forest mountain" type of guy. So I absolutely love Sequioa, Yosemite, Rocky Mountain, Glacier and even though it's not mountainous I love Olympic too, and a lot of people don't even know there's a rainforest in the US :D

Would be awesome to stay at one of them for the whole summer
