I feel fine. I have chronic stomach problems and always feel nauseous at all times, but I don't feel like I have to vomit anymore and haven't been sick since that night.

Did some static stretching. Feel good today. Finally! Also, I paid a nutritionist (friend of Goon's')to write out a meal plan for me. It was pricey but I know it will be worth it. I'll post a starting physique photo tonight.

He's not a traditional nutritionist. He's a close friend of Steve's and is a professional MMA fighter and also trains other fighters. I also am exaggerating at the cost of it. For what he is going to offer me, its an awesome deal.

Also, I DID gain a lot of weight in between the times when those pictures were taken. Some people on here might remember my fast food bulk. I put on a small amount of muscle and a ton of body fat haha

Notes: I really tried to push it hard today. I have not been putting enough work into my deadlift and its showing in my numbers. 185 x 5 was harder than it should have been.

Today was the first time I tried deficit pulls and I plan on programming it as an accessory lift through this 8 week cycle of my program. I'm hoping it will help with my speed off the floor. Steve and I noticed that my back actually looks BETTER pulling from a deficit. Is there any logical reason for this?

Notes: I started my new diet that was written up by my friend. I just received the plan in email today and at first glance, the protein and carbs look low. I will stick to it for two weeks and if I feel a drop in energy or loss of strength, I'll ask him to tweak it.

While squatting today, I felt completely wiped out. Carbs were very, very low compared to what I was eating before. I had to leave training early because I felt so tired. I know it will take my body some time to adjust.

Here's a photo of all I bought today. The dirty pumpkin is from Halloween lol not part of the new diet

They are Paleo and thus they are usually low carb. Does your new diet have you eating more fat? When I tried to cut out carbs in the Summer I felt terrible but this Fall I lowered my carb intake and upped my fat intake and it balanced out pretty well.

No, not really more fat. I entered my food that I would be eating into fatsecret.com to see the macros I would be getting and the fat is very, very low.

Notes: The diet is going well but I'm pretty tired and hungry throughout the day. Training has been tough but I know I'll get used to it.

My life is starting to come together again. My car officially kicked the bucket but I'm getting a new car this weekend. I also got a new job today at my University and I'm extremely excited about it. It starts in a few weeks. Plan on training real hard this winter break! Finally, things are good again.
 
Congrats on the new job! And congrats on your life coming back together. Life will put you through these tough times and all you can do is grit your teeth and fight through them.
