He's being interviewed by submission radio and seems to be coping.

He said they "dominated" the standup.

He did say they absolutely don't want a quick rematch, since he acknowledged they are way behind in the "Russian wrestling style".

"If we had an extra minute, that fight would be ours" - Ignoring that DDP slipped out from top position at the end of the fight.

Said they practiced everything except the crucifix.

Said they worked with very good Russian wrestlers/grapplers and put DDP in very bad positions that Dricus would always reverse it in 30 seconds.

Basically, they couldn't find anyone with Khamzat's level of control.

"He stayed on Dricus like a fucking blanket".

Wait wasn't MM only just earlier in that same video calling out fans for saying it was boring but then goes on here himself to say it wasn't the most exciting LOL.

But anyways yeah this coach is a moron, your student got absolutely embarrassed and it was your job to train him so this doesn't happen, blaming the ref is crazy.

Khamzat took him down at will and did what he wanted with him. Yeah, it sucked to watch and I hate that the rules allow it but they do.

Learn TDD and stop crying. That was the worst champ performance ever possibly
I hope Khamzat learns from the fight and improves his ability to do damage from the crucifix position.

I'm also in no rush to see a rematch.
Give DDP a grappler or two next and then we can see.

The ref could probably have stood them up a couple of times, but tbh if the only path to victory was via ref intervention then Khamzat deserved the win either way

Pride/Rizin rules would have made the fight more entertaining but realistically fighters need to come up with a broader answer for Brazza wrasslin in the long-term or it'll just remain dominated by lay-and-pray tactics to win rounds
