That last fight was an example of exciting, action packed grappling. Simply put, amazing. This is what mma grappling should look like, not the leg humping and stalling style of someone like DC or GSP after defending the belt a couple times.

DC is a monster. He blatantly went easy on Anderson.

Yeah I guess Jones went easy on OSP too. But we both know that those statements are complete bs.

This says it all. DC was not going to KTFO of an old Anderson with on 2 days notice, no training camp, had surgery 7 weeks before. There have been tons of boring MMA fights before and there will be many more in the future.

I'm pretty sure that's bs.

DC always attempts (and succeeds) to slam all of his opponents, but he did nothing of the sort against a flabby Anderson who hadn't fought or trained for months. Look at how tentative his takedowns were.

It's possible he took it easy, he's a sensitive dude and cares a lot about peoples' opinions of him. Possible it was a shitty cut for him too, apparently he was politicking for a catch weight of 210 with Anderson.

Dude has fought killers he's not fighting a dan hardy

hahaha yeah those 2 are really at the level of Cormier or Anderson!!! haha funny stuff

I think we're letting Anderson off the hook a little bit. Anderson definitely stalled on bottom, no question.

No offensive jiujitsu or attempts to sweep. Is normal for Anderson.

Come on guys. This is how he fought in the final strikeforce. When he gets a short notice opponent, he goes to his roots because he didn't have time to train uniqueness of the opponent. Yes it's not what's exciting but he doesn't want to risk losing to a short notice opponent

Its so funny how people try and justify a shitty and boring performance by saying "he went easy on him." Stupid even by Sherdog standards.

What's funny is how little perception you have.

You don't have to chalk it up to "he went easy on him." DC isn't gonna go easy on anybody, this is his career and income on the line he's gonna fight his hardest every time. Where were you when Jones had his lackluster fight against OSP? He could've used some excuses there.

Anderson is a flabby 41 year old, who hasn't trained for months, has just had surgery, and is a MW.

DC has been training for months, is a lot bigger, a lot stronger, and has slammed everyone he's ever faced.

Look at the takedowns in that fight, they're pathetic.
