Respect game? Didn’t Khabib converse with 90% of his opponents while he was beating them to a pulp?
 
I dunno, Khabib could've fucked Conor up a 2nd time and got paid millions for it. UFC kept trying to push that dumb rematch. I feel like Khabib is fine with leaving Conor how he is, Conor ruined his record and perception since.
 
Khabib doesn't need closure with Conor. He knows he needs closure with the fight game he walked away to early and his legacy can and will be erased in 5 years time. But he's to scared to lose that 0. And now that he's been out the fight game for some time he's even more afraid to come back as not the same guy he was and knows that the good fighters have adapted to his style. So he can't guarantee a win and he'll stay in this limbo forever. Even if it could pay his bills which clearly he needs. Unless he man's up and pulls a gsp.

I think he's watched the replay and realized that Conor baited him into taking the neck for an easy way out. He got led mentally at the end, and ended the fight on Conor's terms. And that's gonna burn him forever.

He won definitively but Conor led him into sparing his skull the trauma and he has to live with that, just like Conor has to live with being ok losing and resorting to controlling the manner in which he lost.
 
Khabib needs help getting closure on that last pants button the way he's been going at it

People don’t rage out and go into full attack mode after they get their happy ending.

Tell me that Khabib looked like a man who got the ending he wanted at the end of 229.

That was the least closure I’ve ever seen from someone winning a fight. The guy wanted more, wasn’t satisfied.
 
Khabib already sealed this deal and needs no closure. Don't blame Khabib one bit for hating Conor. He's been a real prick his entire UFC run.

Khabib raged out seconds after the fight. Conor is still butt hurt almost 6 years later. Khabib is retired and training champions. Conor is an alcoholic drug addict who still posts about the Khabib loss.
 
If someone was constantly disrespecting my credibility, faith, friend, family, and dead father everything your name is remotely mentioned in any context I'd hate that bitch too. But Khabib is a bigger person than I am. He's just living his own life and not getting involved in this craziness. I know plenty of people who wouldn't consider this kind of shit settled until someone stops breathing.

Conor has no reason to be as obsessed and disgusting as he's been for years when it comes to Khabib. Acting in the way he has just because he lost a fight I'd insane. And that's not even touching on the shit he did just to sell a fight.

He talked to them but he never brought up anything personal. Him and Al traded barbs, he talked to people's corners mid fights as a joke. He'll talk to Dana. But nothing serious or disrespectful
 
It would be such an absolute farce to give McGregor a title shot , even the ufc couldn’t pull that one of and still look like a legitimate sport , but Islam vs Conor would be pretty fun
