Silva tested positive for Steroids twice, He was only ruled tainted supplements the second time. It doesn't excuse the first time. Anderson was a very good MT fighter with terrible wrestling. He had a nice run because the stars aligned and he had a strength of schedule that matched up with him. FFS Chael Sonnen beat the brakes off him for 4 and a half rounds.

DC has only lost to one guy who has been caught using PEDS twice. His strength of schedule is far more impressive and he's the far more rounded fighter. He'll be remembered in MMA as one of the greats.

The unfortunate truth is that Cormier will always be remembered in the shadow of Jones, in spite of the latter's fuckups and cheating. We just don't know if Cormier can beat (a clean) Jones.

I don't think he needs to prove that he can, and granted, Jones hasn't proven he can beat Cormier clean either. But people by and large will still remember Cormier's unjustly earned losses and wonder. The two belts are great, but makes the Jones question mark even larger...

You're right, unfortunately they will only be discussing whether or not Silva was on the juice for his entire tenure. DC doesn't have to worry about that
