I kinda miss the walkouts with the pyrotechnics and whatnot. I get that they were trying to go for more of a boxing vibe than WWE, but for me nothing will ever come close to Tito’s UFC 40 entrance. The whole spectacle of that fight was something else. Never been anything like it in the UFC before or since.

Sweet Caroline is the song most associated with combat sports in England, it’s played at all boxing events and gets everyone rowdy. That and because it’s an absolute banger is probably the rationale behind the choice.
