“I couldn’t really give a (expletive) about what Woodley says,” Till told MMAjunkie. “What does light work actually mean? I don’t know what that means. Is any fight light work? Is he trying to say I’m light work? That just doesn’t make any sense. To me that doesn’t make any sense at all. No one is light work at all. So he can tune in the 27th of May if he thinks anyone is going to make light work of me. I’m going to show everyone.”

I really want Till to be the guy people keep telling me he is because the dude is funny and entertaining but I've seen his fights that weren't the Cowboy beatdown and sadly I think Woodley is right

Cerrone is the number 11 ranked WW. I still can't understand why Till wasn't immediately declared the undisputed welterweight champion after wrecking him.

Same. He's good, but he doesn't give off the impression that he's anything special at the moment. Him beating Wonderboy, though, would be crazy. Being the first to finish Wonderboy would be straight up nuts.

Till sounds legit like he has been gotten to. There's been too much crying about Wonderboy and Woodley over the past few days. Why does he feel the need to even respond? Darren, lad, just let your fists do the talking in your hometown and get on the mic after you dispatch Thompson...

Yea the nr 11 guy when Conor is fighting a bus, when Tony is tripping, when Max is eating, when Pettis is asking for more $, when commissions don't like rankings all in the span of days but yea go take a shot at Khabib seems fair.

I took it as more of a shot at the UFC and how bad they've fucked up the division than a shot at Khabib

If beating the number 11 guy earns you a title someone fucked up badly somewhere

Not hating on Khabib he did his job... but that's just a fact

I read that whole quote in his voice and it was hilarious.

Circumstances.. cause that is the reality. Tell me how would you have handled that better, what would have been your best choice.

At this point in his career yes but once he has more fights under his belt he could be an absolute killer. The guy impressed me in his debut but not so much since. The ko of Cerrone was nice but Cerrone chokes against overconfident trash talkers

I wish him success too. For all the reasons you said. I hope he beats Wonder boy and gets a ts. I'm taking Woodley over Till though.

Light work? Let's see how Woodley feels about it after Till knocks Wonderboy out in 1st round.

Pretty sure Khabib is the only number one contender in the history of the org who was crowned champ after beating the guy who stepped in to replace the champion who pulled out of the fight due to injury.

It is what it is.

That's the situation no one wanted it like that.. you think he wanted it that way and switching opponents around 24/7.

Impossible to say without knowing details I can't know, like how much money UFC have to pay fighters, how much fighters are demanding etc.

If you can't spot some very obvious missteps that led to a situation with three LW champions who have all never fought each other I just don't know what to say though...

I still need to watch those. Apparently he's overhyped because his only recognized fight is against cowboy and the only fight I've seen.

It's worth watching for sure. You'll see a lot of clever stuff he's doing and it makes it clear he has tons of potential

But it also makes it clear he isn't this complete unstoppable destroyer like he looked against cowboy

And it also makes it clear that while that size is a pretty big advantage, cutting that much weight does hurt him in the later rounds

The Dalby draw is a great one because it's all his strengths and all his weaknesses on display all at once and .... it's a damn good fight too

I like Till better when he isn't shook.
