Rumored Darren TIll released by ufc

He clearly couldn't hang at the top but his losses seemed to have crush his confidence.

Man, Till was a fun guy till the ref yelled “fight!l

gonna miss him but but not as much as following him to another org

Not really suprised. Till is one of the most overrated fighters to ever make it to the UFC. He'll probably go get smashed 2-3 times in Bellator/BKFC then fade into the oblivion.

Makes sense. 1-5 since the wonderboy fight and his last win was a split dec over a washed Kelvin Gastelum. Plus getting finished in 4 of those 5 losses.

Good, let him get his confidence back in the minor leagues and then join PFL or Bellator to finish up his career.

I'm a little surprised if it's true, not because he doesn't deserve it (because he does) but because Dana still seemed optimistic about keeping him around after his last loss.

Till was never my friend...

I'd have kept him around for the UK cards.

He should go for some local UK based place like cage warriors. Destroy some bums and then take another shot at Bellator/UFC.

It's more just that that is his best recorded victory, chill out.

I'm not into non-results like him beating Whittaker but losing to Wonderboy, since those aren't facts.

You chill out, you're the one who's all defensive. Context matters. This is why just looking at a record is a poor way to form an opinion about a fighter.

He got a title and had one of the biggest shit the bed moments in that fight in history of mma. Its rough but maybe for the best. They could keep him on and use him on UK cards but he's just not good enough to beat top guys right now.

Bellator could be an option, MVP vs Till in UK?

Been saying for years his best outing was against a washed up lightweight Cerrone.

Yeah, he was always a bit over-hyped though to be fair I think his performance against Whittaker was pretty underrated to be honest. Maybe Robert was gun-shy after being KO'd by Izzy, but even then Till more than held his own and made that fight razor-thin -- which is more than Cannonier or Vettori can say. I firmly believe that the guy who stepped into the cage against Rob probably finishes Dricus or Brunson more often than not. But what matters is what you bring to the cage and in Till's case whatever promise he had disappeared as he turned into an unmotivated, injury-prone mess.

Wow true huge if.

He's stillso young. Could be a kevin Lee thing

Woulda given him 1 more chance personally, absolute shite performance in his last fight though.

Lol ko bud, he was like 24. Outclassed by a prime Woodley. If anything he shit the bed in England and got gifted a w vs Thompson

Anyone else notice that his complete demise seemed to occur around the same time that he started becoming more prominent on social media as a ‘troll’ of sorts. Committed way too much time to keep up that appearance - his fight game stagnated as a result.
