Again, it's not a relevant comparison. What Inoki was able to do doesn't matter. There are too many errors in the comparison.

1. Inoki is a wrestler. Till is a striker. Doesn't work to compare the two, just like the people saying early UFC Royce is proof Till would win.

2. Ali had absolutely no idea about MMA or wrestlers, Joshua has UFC on his radar

3. Joshua is much bigger and stronger than Ali was resulting in a more transferrable advantage against someone trying to grapplefuck him.

4. The grappling would wear Till down faster than Inoki was worn down against Ali because he'd be trying to grapple against someone much, MUCH bigger and stronger. Inoki was not doing that to someone much bigger in Ali.

If you remove the conditions of the massive size advantage for the boxer AND the fact that Till is not a grappler, there is no relevancy in the comparison. We aren't talking MMA vs Boxer in general, we are talking strictly Till vs AJ.

on top of that: Inoki "won" kicking and laying into the ground waiting for a restart.
