In this thread, I've just been arguing that it's a reasonable possibility, while glennrod has absolutely exploded with hatred at anyone who doesn't agree with him. But it's not unusual for you to come in talking about stuff you're clueless about.

Why is it not a reasonable possibility? Issa's action was extraordinarily disrespectful, and he's never done that to a white colleague. If you're a black person who has dealt with disrespect from people on those grounds, why wouldn't it make sense for you to think that the reason he did that was racism? And why is it so hard for you to accept that other people can disagree with you?

I with you for the most part, but, while asking for valid ID in and of itself is not racist, I'm confident the right did this to suppress the black vote. Even then, I don't know if its racist as much as strategic profiling.

It's a highly disrespectful action in a situation where respect is called for.

As for whether I'd be saying it if the parties were reversed (as if that matters at all), sure I would. Well, except for the fact that there are no black Republicans in the House.
