I don't like Darkseid or Thanos. Thanos comes off as whiny and benefits from having one writer treat him as his pet (Starlin). Darkseid is supposed to be the villain for DC, yet despite his high profile gets punked out regularly. Apocalypse is the man though, can't even find enough writers to get the character straight (entire history and even his powers are a convoluted mess), still comes off well most of the time.
