Danny Glover in Die Hard With a Vengeance

Replacing Samuel L. Jackson with Danny Glover in Die Hard With a Vengeance, would it really have changed the movie if at all? Who would be the better Zeus character? I was pondering over this the other day when watching the original Die Hard.

I'm not a huge fan of Jackson but he really knocked that role out of the park; it's almost like it was written for him. I don't think anyone else does it better.

Both are phenomenal actors and I love Danny Glover. That being said, Sam Jackson was perfect for that role. He always had that boiling under the surface rage that Danny Glover just doesn't.

In Glover's role in the movie Shooter, I think that no one else could've nailed it like he did.




Some roles are perfect for certain actors/actresses. Oh, and a shout out to the Late, great, Ned Beatty. He freakin' nailed it!

Is he really dead? Googling it provides articles about him passing from cancer several years ago, while others conflict and say he is alive. I remember the stories but no definitive answer. He hasn't been active since 2013 (posthumously?), which would mean he is likely dead.
