Throwback Daniel "It's Over" Cormier

Cormier is an enthusiastic color commentator, with plenty of technical know how, and I'm glad for it. Some of you take this way way too seriously.

Daniel Cormier came up the hard way, earned his stripes. Daniel under the tutelage of one of the best and toughest.

so what ?
I like DC , you have the option to mute

The only person it's ok to mute is Chael's coke fueled tirades at 400 percent volume in between fights. Only time it's acceptable

Added:

Myktybek Orolbai-Mateusz Rębecki Rd 2 4:07 remaining "Oh he's done! He's done!"

Here are 19 cases in which Daniel Cormier declared during live commentary that a fight was to end imminently. In all 19 cases, the fight did not end.

In four of the 19 cases, the fighter Cormier said was getting finished went on to win the fight.

I have only admitted cases in which Cormier expressed 100% certainty that the fight was over and was wrong.

Honorable Mentions are for cases in which, although Cormier was incorrect, the attacking fighter did finish his opponent in a subsequent sequence. For example, Vieira failed on his first arm triangle attempt against Brundage ("It's over"), but the second attempt did end the fight.

Honorable Mentions:

Cody Brundage-Rodolfo Vieira 3:55 remaining "It's over"

Julian Marquez-MAB Rd 2 2:11 "It's over already!"

Now do every time Joe Rogan yelled omoplata vs how many times the fight was finished via omoplata.

Hint: there are a LOT in the 2006-2009 or so era.

Honorable Mentions are for cases in which, although Cormier was incorrect, the attacking fighter did finish his opponent in a subsequent sequence in the same round. Very fascinating form of autism

I think Rogan saying a sub is locked in or tight is the same thing. If a sub is locked in then the fight is basically over. Half the time when Rogan says a sub is tight the other guy is out of it before Rogan gets all the words out. I find both DC and Rogan very annoying.

This required a lot of research, did you use AI?

Can you do one for all the times Rogan has said that a submission is locked in?
I wish someone gave me a dollar for every time shoe said “that leg is compromised”.
