I love how there is this entire beautiful historied martial art; deeply steeped in ancient tradition and passed on through families and dojos for many generations, from the Orient to South America, battle tested in real no hold barred competitions by the best martial artists on the planet and played an integral part in the evolution of combat sports

Here are 23 UFC or Contender Series fights in which Daniel Cormier declared during live commentary that a fight was ending imminently by TKO/KO or submission. Cormier was wrong in all cases.

In four of the cases, the fighter Cormier said was getting finished went on to win the fight.

I have only admitted cases in which Cormier expressed certainty that the fight was ending and was wrong.

This is not the same as saying a submission is "locked in" or "tight". It is also not the same as saying a fighter "looks/seems defeated".
