The #2 fighter @ HW is Ngannou
Blaydes would easily ragdoll him
Dc has shit TDD
He got taken down like 5 times by the GOAT and got taken down by Rumble lol. Oh and Gus was even with him in takedowns landed
With the lack of wrestlers at HW, Blaydes has not fought anyone with significant TDD and went 0-13 on TD against freaking Omielanczuk. There are no reasons to expect him to ragdoll DC or even Stipe.

This. DC is better than Blaydes everywhere.DC, dude is 10 x the fighter blaydes is.
and if DC does beat stipe then he definitely beats blaydes.
Yeah right. This never happened. And has been stated, he ragdolled Stipe when they trained together.

Better cardio by what metric? That's just pure bullshit. How many 5 round fights has he been in compared to DC? How would he nullify DC in wrestling? DC has proven to be a FAR better wrestler. Blaydes barely took down a green Ngannou and then got his shit rocked.Blaydes is younger, larger, stronger, better cardio and can nullify the wrestling. I don’t see why he wouldn’t be able to take him
Right... Like I said, I don't listen to anecdotal, unproven bullshit. I go by what I've seen them both do, and Stipe wrestled Ngannou far better than Blaydes did, while also dominating on the feet. And Ngannou was better than when Blaydes faced him.Yeah buddy lol, I was there, ask Coach Marinelli what happened the first time they ever MMA sparred, three Blaydes suplexes in the first round. That being said I love Stipe too, in the second round Stipe stayed on the outside and boxed him to death. From then on that was how Stipe sparred Blaydes. Blaydes was only an ammy back then, think it was 4-5 years ago, so who knows today

If DC beats Stipe, he's clearly the best fighter he's ever been. Curtis would be the underdog. But I'm also picking Curtis, since while his striking may not be as good as Cormier's, he outclasses Cormier physically in every aspect. I think it will be a dirty, gritty, painful fight that will take years off their lives, but in the end I think Curtis' heart, chin, and determination will get him a decision win.
Curtis vs Ngannou, Stipe, or Cormier will all be gritty crazy fights like Cain vs JDS 1 & 2, and Curtis knows it. He's ready to sacrifice a piece of himself every fight to take and hold the belt.
have you not noticed the progression?
Hunt has decent TDD these days imo, only the high level wrestlers have managed to out wrestle him. Struve, Tuscherer, Kongo, Nelson, Mir etc all tried and failed.
