that's not what i'm saying. in some fights, it's a sustained beating that end in decision. in other fights, especially at heavyweight, one punch early in a fight ends the fight. i'm not saying that dc won by some lucky punch. he for the most part, was the better fighter tonight. stipe had his moments, but dc had more moments, and of course landed the big punch.

after all this time on sherdog, i've easily recognized posters who have to see something in black vs. white terms. there are no gray areas with some posters. i guess it's easier to form opinions for some posters that way. it's like some of you can't see things in more nuanced ways.

i felt like this is the next level of dirty boxing.
we knew that cormier was a dirty boxing fighter but this here looked like the "new step" in dirty boxing fighting evolution... i was very impressed.

Not really. Just look at the the two fighters. DC outclassed him easily. Do you need more than one fight to know GSP would beat Hardy 70% plus percent?

I think everyone understands that literally any fighter can land a big shot and KO anyone. Mentioning that is almost silly

The reason your posts look “salty” or whatever because whether or not you intended to, you do sound like you’re saying DC happened to land first. When in reality he landed that due to specifically wanting to connect big from the clinch. He mentioned it before the fight and the sequence is very obvious they worked on that and he mentioned it post fight. This wasn’t some randomsequence where the other fighter also landed and one happened to get KO’d or where a random strike was thrown

I do agree Stipe could have KOd DC but again that is like saying any fighter can potentially KO the other. I think it’s pretty clear DC had the superior strategy and the necessary skills to execute
