Daniel Cormier KO Stipe Miocio GIFS

Stipe has survived some nasty shots, shows how much power Cormier has... and in a very short distance as well.

Its a hook! The tighter the hook, the more power usually

this clinch technique is INSANE and i NEVER saw it before in MMA.
this is fcn high level stuff. this is crazy man.

Where's the one with the eye pokes? Folks are saying DC won due to eye pokes . . .

I didn't see it happen and It doesn't seem like it happened at all, one eye poke happened. It happens all the time it was probably an accident. From the evidence DC never poked Stipe before the KO.

i never said that dc wasn't better. he was better tonight, that's for sure. all i'm saying, is that at heavyweight one punch ends a fight more often than in other divisions. if they fought ten times, it could go 5/5, or maybe dc wins all ten times. who knows.

i assume you've heard the term, "hitting the sweet spot"? it could be that stipe didn't land it on dc tonight, and dc did. i don't know. i don't see how you can conclude that dc would beat stipe every single time they fight. that would be rather naive of you to think.
Pathetic. Butthurt and pathetic. Lets take all of Stipe's wins away from "hitting the sweet spot". Stay salty.

So where’s all those folks that said stupid shit like DC had zero chance?

Go ahead and admit it lol

Cormier was also outstriking Stipe before the knockout (also evident in the fight stats).

Man I’m So Happy for DC.

I feel like this puts the losses to Jones to rest.

Right or wrong, no! Losing to Jones will always be the thing DC is most remembered for. I would bet anything DC doesn't think this put the Jones loses to rest

i agree. it could have easily been stipe landing that shot and knocking dc out. i swear, it's amazing how some mma fans haven't figured this out.

So then let’s go ahead and discredit all of Stipe’s KOs as due to luck also then.

It wasn't about power, it was about skill and speed which Stipe just haven't faced at HW before.

Perfect example of having T-Rex arms paying off

i don't know why you're so adamant on painting me as, "salty". it's like you intentionally ignored my entire post and what i said, so you can stick with a narrative that i'm, "salty". i'm happy for dc. he's a great guy. i didn't have a favorite in the fight.

DC is better than Stipe everywhere. I am not sure if he wins 100/100 times, but is there any indication he wouldn't win 70/100 or more?
