Id agree but usually when fighters talk about their toughest fight theyre referring to fights they actually won

After Gus caught DC off guard with the knee, he landed an uppercut to rock him and got a knockdown.

You don't see that kind of stuff from average strikers. He's always had a great stand-up game,
and DC straight up acknowledged it. He said the same thing just after the fight.

Instead he gets KO by Stipe then someone gets an immediate rematch when he didnt deserve ir considering he threw all he had at Stipe before being finished. Idk why the UFC fed him Derrick Lewis I guess they wanted to give him a winnable HW fight and Dericks only chance was a puncher chance


Also Gust was arguably robbed vs Jones in 1st fight and vs DC

I think it just happens to be true. Alexander gustuffson probably landed the most strikes and did the most damage to him overall. Jones while beating him comfortably didn't damage him horribly in either fight. In the rematch he ko'd him, but at that point in the fight DC had looked good all the way through. The gus fight was DC's first time really in deep water, hurt badly, but found a way to win. There was no point he had to do that yet in his whole career til he fought Gusstuffson. And the exact same is true for jones. (bar the vitor fight, Which was one scary moment in an otherwise easy fight)

I bet both Khabib and tony would say the samething about gaethje but they wouldn't be copying eachother.

I love Jones as a fighter, but when he beats himself with cheating, legal trouble etc ; the other fighters need not beat him where he can't compete anyways.
