We can already tell that Dana does not want Belal to be champ and we know he loves Khamzat Chimaev. If he can make welterweight I think Dana will throw him in there. My opinion is Belal will have nothing for him outside of catching him coming in wild. What do you guys think?

Khamzat is easy money for Belal. Issue with Khamzat is he probably won’t even make it to the fight. Guy has pulled out of almost half his UFC fights. He has 7 total UFC fights and 6 cancelled fights.

Khamzat is done at 170 and possibly done in MMA overall if his health issues are serious. Shame, he had huge potential.

I think there is ZERO chances of that happening.

Firstly, the weight. Borz is not ever fighting at WW again.

Secondly, he’s a pull out artist. That’s bad enough. Add that and the weight cut together.

The UFC would deserve to have that card completely fall apart if they gave Borz a TS, and probable ME at WW.

No way. Terrible idea.

1) Khamzat is unreliable. Needs at least one more fight before he gets a title shot (more likely 2)
2) Khamzat can't make 170.
3) Already some great fights for Belal at 170 with Shavkat, Usman, and Edwards all available.
