You corporate apologists make me sick!

Ngannou refused to bow down to your BALD king and you think you have the audacity to preach with your holier-than-thou attitudes and smug (punchable, no doubt) faces like you have a horse in this race.

Capitalist America has made you both spiteful and vindictive, you value monetary gains - even when it’s not your own- over anything that could be considered principled .

Nganouu was brought up in the remnants of a colonised sovereignty, money is just a by-product of his achievements to him. Stick with him guys, principles will end up winning in the end; he’ll be fighting and entertaining us soon, for that I have no doubt.

You’re an honest to shit first class bleeding heart mark. You’ve been played.

My post history proves over and over again how dishonest Ngannou has been for YEARS. How is it my fault you got bamboozled, because you don’t pay attention? I’m the conductor on that train. And not one single person has ever proven me wrong.

The obsessive hatred many of you have towards Dana/The UFC is disturbing. You don’t have the ability to see the truth. Even when I put it right in front of your face. Ngannou is no more honest than Dana is.

I have ZERO respect for people displaying wilful ignorance. And in most cases it’s actual flat out dishonesty. Don’t talk to me about principles. Because Ngannou doesn’t have any, alright.

Your remnants of “colonial sovereignty” is ridiculous. Cameroon was not South Africa under Apartheid rule.

His whole “back story” certainly lays the foundation for the victim role he’s played ever since. Every bad thing that’s happened to him is somebody else’s fault.

I don’t even know if it’s true. I’m not saying it isn’t. I’m saying I haven’t seen incontrovertible proof that it is.

We don’t even know how old he is. Please show me any instances of his loyalty to anybody in regards to his entire combat career. Please show me any instances of his gratitude for the people that supposedly pulled him out of the proverbial “gutter”.

My post history proves he has outright lied to you.

Forget Dana but it's kind of hard to back Ngannou in this when we don't even know why he's doing what he's doing. It's all very mysterious. That tweet from ONE was cryptic. "Non financial...not personal...lack of alignment..." what's all that supposed to mean? If what FN is doing is noble then fine, but what exactly is it? Better pay? Health care for the fighters? If nothing else his PR sucks & it's not the fans fault they're just going to be upset that he's holding up a division & not fighting.

Ngannou deserves a lot of blame for his poor strategy, but I don’t really know what he wants, so I can’t blame another man for setting his own goals.

Dana White bootlickers are some of the lowest-quality people on the planet, though. Only Elon Musk zealots rival them in regards to embarrassing worship(at least athletes, actors and musicians actually provide something to admire).

There are a lot of people who can't rub two nickels together who will defend billionaires. I wouldn't regard their opinions or let them bother you too much. They choose to be dumb.

Back in my day. Cain Velasquez had to fight 5 rounds uphill in the snow.

Fighters today have it easy.

Just saw this article where Chatri elaborated
https://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/us-sport/exclusive-ufc-francis-ngannou-offer-29861694
"He was asking for a seat at the board of directors, he was asking for him to determine his opponent's pay," he revealed.
"We offered him £16million ($20million) guaranteed, the money wasn't enough, he wanted all of these other non-financial terms that didn't make a lot of sense.
"We obviously can't give a seat at the board of directors, that doesn't make any sense, he would be a fish out of water [in that position]."

I'd put TS in a locker if he said this shit to my face.

And that was just to be let into the warm arena so he could get to his octagon fight!

Gumshields?? Back then they just chewed a LOT of gum!

Why does there need to be a good guy / bad guy narrative here?

Both sides looking out for their interests, couldn't find an agreement, and parted ways. It's a business deal.

If Ngannou's interests were to be able to box (no matter the reason), then his interests are served because he is free to pursue that without a restrictive contract.

Whether or not that turns out good for him in the long run is yet to be seen, but that doesn't make anyone good or bad.

How is saying Francis made a bad decision "whining?" Jumping through your monitor to defend him and calling Dana the villain sounds a lot more like whining to me. We know from a monetary standpoint that the offer the UFC gave him was a good one.

Francis said there were three items that they couldn't meet on:
1. The right to have his own sponsors. - I get the UFC not wanting to meet him all the way on this one, but I feel like they could have met somewhere in the middle with the UFC working to obtain sponsorships for him that stayed within their guidelines. Allowing full sponsorship rights here is going to cause every manager in the business to pick up their phones and start bargaining for their fighters. I may be in the minority here, but I prefer the uniforms over the condom depot days.

2. Health Insurance. - I'm not sure why they couldn't work something out here, but they definitely should have. Many fighters have come out and said they get health insurance from the UFC, and others have said they pay for their own at like $600/month.

3. A fighter advocate. - This is not something that should be provided by the UFC as there would be an obvious conflict of interest. I'm not sure what Francis expected here, but for most fighters, their fighter advocate is their manager.

Since leaving the UFC, two (if not more) different orgs have already commented on how hard Francis is to work with and said they are no longer interested in negotiating with him. This lines up accurately with what Dana has been saying about him. Dana hasn't been this vocal about not working with someone since Randy Couture. The UFC even let him out of his contract early and turned down their right to match offers.

I am unaware of a single business that offers their contractors health care in the United States manly because in most states it isn't legal as the person in question has to work a certain number of hours every week for the company in question (>30 IIRC). Additionally I would severely doubt that there is insurance provider that would touch a high turn over user base at anything close to a competitive rate per person, and to include these people's family's.. forget it... and good point about their advocate is their manager.... as Francis fired his...
as for sponsors I know a hand full of top drivers get to have who ever they want on their helmet in Formula One but can't really think of another sport that lets participants advertise who ever they want...

^^^^^^^^^^ This

It's not the top end of the pay scale that is the problem, it's the bottom.

Not to sound like OP, but you're right and that's another very "American" sentiment (e.g., that overall societal health/economy isn't as important as the richest of the riches' freedom to get richer).

Why does there need to be a good guy / bad guy narrative here?

Because I'm good and only have good intentions, for everybody, of every creed.

Anyone who disagrees with me must be evil and bad. They shouldn't have a job, or the right to speak, and are probably racist and privileged.

Why do we tolerate such evil?
