Best promo for Power Slap
You wanna talk hardship? Let's talk hardship. Sensei Seagal was born in a log cabin he built with his own two hands.
You’re an honest to shit first class bleeding heart mark. You’ve been played. You corporate apologists make me sick!
Ngannou refused to bow down to your BALD king and you think you have the audacity to preach with your holier-than-thou attitudes and smug (punchable, no doubt) faces like you have a horse in this race.
Capitalist America has made you both spiteful and vindictive, you value monetary gains - even when it’s not your own- over anything that could be considered principled .
Nganouu was brought up in the remnants of a colonised sovereignty, money is just a by-product of his achievements to him. Stick with him guys, principles will end up winning in the end; he’ll be fighting and entertaining us soon, for that I have no doubt.

Just saw this article where Chatri elaboratedThat tweet from ONE was cryptic. "Non financial...not personal...lack of alignment..." what's all that supposed to mean?
"He was asking for a seat at the board of directors, he was asking for him to determine his opponent's pay," he revealed.
"We offered him £16million ($20million) guaranteed, the money wasn't enough, he wanted all of these other non-financial terms that didn't make a lot of sense.
"We obviously can't give a seat at the board of directors, that doesn't make any sense, he would be a fish out of water [in that position]."
And that was just to be let into the warm arena so he could get to his octagon fight!Back in my day. Cain Velasquez had to fight 5 rounds uphill in the snow.
Fighters today have it easy.
Can his cheetos and mountain dew fit? And his laptop? Because if not, he's NOT going in...I'd put TS in a locker if he said this shit to my face.
How is saying Francis made a bad decision "whining?" Jumping through your monitor to defend him and calling Dana the villain sounds a lot more like whining to me. We know from a monetary standpoint that the offer the UFC gave him was a good one.
Francis said there were three items that they couldn't meet on:
1. The right to have his own sponsors. - I get the UFC not wanting to meet him all the way on this one, but I feel like they could have met somewhere in the middle with the UFC working to obtain sponsorships for him that stayed within their guidelines. Allowing full sponsorship rights here is going to cause every manager in the business to pick up their phones and start bargaining for their fighters. I may be in the minority here, but I prefer the uniforms over the condom depot days.
2. Health Insurance. - I'm not sure why they couldn't work something out here, but they definitely should have. Many fighters have come out and said they get health insurance from the UFC, and others have said they pay for their own at like $600/month.
3. A fighter advocate. - This is not something that should be provided by the UFC as there would be an obvious conflict of interest. I'm not sure what Francis expected here, but for most fighters, their fighter advocate is their manager.
Since leaving the UFC, two (if not more) different orgs have already commented on how hard Francis is to work with and said they are no longer interested in negotiating with him. This lines up accurately with what Dana has been saying about him. Dana hasn't been this vocal about not working with someone since Randy Couture. The UFC even let him out of his contract early and turned down their right to match offers.
^^^^^^^^^^ This
It's not the top end of the pay scale that is the problem, it's the bottom.
Why does there need to be a good guy / bad guy narrative here?
"IDL - you're taking everything we worked for!"Why does there need to be a good guy / bad guy narrative here?
Both sides looking out for their interests, couldn't find an agreement, and parted ways. It's a business deal.
If Ngannou's interests were to be able to box (no matter the reason), then his interests are served because he is free to pursue that without a restrictive contract.
Whether or not that turns out good for him in the long run is yet to be seen, but that doesn't make anyone good or bad.
