Dana White says Georges St-Pierre is retired, but ex-champ's manager denies claim

Negotiating tactics, didn't work for the Bisping fight, Dana really believes they will work this time ?

Wasn't GSP JUST on Joe Rogan's podcast saying he is just getting better from his illness and doesn't want a training camp right now but does want to fight soon?
 
GSP does not want to fight who the UFC wants him to fight. Pure and simple.

GSP wants to fight Khabib for the LW Belt or Conor for the Money. Those are the only fights he wants to take. And the UFC does not want him to fight either of those 2 right now.

They will never let him fight for the LW strap, and for damn good reason. They know he is highly unlikely to ever defend it if he wins.

And they do not need GSP to fight Conor. GSP and Conor both sell plenty of PPV's no matter who they fight.

GSP could fight Woodley but he won't. He could fight pretty much anyone not named Khabib or Conor, but he won't. So---He will sit on his ass. Which is his prerogative.

White did not mention anything about St-Pierre’s health, but seemed to think his lack of interest in the Diaz fight is a sign he’s ready to hang up his gloves. St-Pierre has shown no indication of that, though, nor has his withdrawn from the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) drug testing pool.

“We were trying to do a fight with him and Nate Diaz in Los Angeles, and ‘GSP’ doesn’t want the fight,” White said. “‘GSP’ doesn’t want to fight right now. He’s not interested in fighting.”

So...... some of you are saying Dana is full of shit only when it's convenient for you, or when he denigrates a fighter you like? Dana pulls this shit on a lot of fighters and it's usually always him trying to strongarm, or screw someone over. How about keep the same consistency, even when it's a fighter you dislike? That is how your opinion is taken seriously.

Dana White is a known liar, but you can't deny Gsp is cherry picking his opponents.

Even though Gsp is active, he fights like a retired fighter choosing opponents.

He has no intentions in fighting legitimately, only came back for easy money fight.

GSP did the right thing stating clearly that the Nate fight was pointless. Not only pointless but Nate isn't even ranked in any weight class currently due to inactivity.

How many fighters would pass up an easy payday? GSP's style is kryptonite to the Diaz brothers. Oh wait, Tyron Woodley campaigned his ass off for an easy money fight.

Shows the difference between Woodley and GSP.

GSP wants a legacy fight. He stated he would fight Khabib (a much tougher fight and Nate). He has no interest in fighting Woodley and I don't blame him. He already had the 170 title and Woodley is definitely not a draw.

Too bad for Dana, GSP cannot be pushed around.

Cherry picking? The cherry here would be a big money fight with Nate Diaz which has been offered to him. GSP wrestlefucks Nate just like he did Nick.

Instead, GSP wants a much tougher fight in Khabib.

I don't think you have a clue what cherry picking even means dumbass...
 
Anything that comes out of Danas mouth is a lie, we all should know that by now. The fact that he is still allowed to run the UFC is completely baffling.

With that said, I look forward to seeing GSP return to the cage soon with this news!
