Pretend for a minute you are objective. Why shouldn't the idiot brothers have to fight their way to the top like everyone else? Answer, people are dumb today and believe everything they read online. There is nothing stopping either idiot from starting from the bottom and PROVING they are worthy of title shots. The problem is, neither are good enough. So they run their mouths and idiots believe them. Just like idiots were sure Conor would beat Floyd. Even if he beats Floyd what does that prove? Can he beat the top 15 in his class? Why doesn't he just prove that?

I don't like Dana but damn are people really defending this crap? Is it just because Dana criticised it? Let's be real here, this shit makes zero sense but I'm not surprised it happened. It's the bad thing about combat sports, any other kind of sport nobody is going to pay to see a total amateur compete with top pros... Money grab nothing fight for the casuals, doesn't matter and isn't worth paying for.

You're comparing a 54 year old having an exhibition fight to a 32 year old active fighter. Boxing does not have any active draws as big as Conor anymore. Canelo was a solid no2 draw until he got moved to a niche streaming service, Fury is only gonna draw big against AJ or Wilder, Joshua is only a big draw in the UK so far. Just look at PPV numbers over the last 5 years- the biggest numbers boxing has gotten in that time are Floyd boxing an MMA fighter and an exhibition bout with no official winner/loser between two men in their fifties, with a co-main of a Youtuber vs an NBA player. And even with boxing resorting to such desperate measures the UFC is STILL a more consistent PPV attraction.
