Media Dana White owes AJ McKee LUNCH

The funny thing is McKee and MVP want to join the UFC.

They've said it plenty of times in their interviews. McKee has literally just repeated it saying he wants to fight Volk.

Lol Dana probably had nightmares seeing Bellator gave him a $1m tn. Broke ass U Fight Cheap can’t afford McKee

Yet McKee, and MVP want to go to the UFC.

Your gimmick is boring as fuck at this point.

What's stopping MVP, he sign a long term deal with like 10 plus fights or something? Otherwise man should fight out whatever the remainder of his contact is and test the free market, the UFC would likely pay him more as he'd be a draw in the UK.

Intrigued to see how this pans out, on the one hand you have Bellator potentially offering AJ fights that will earn a pittance of the views and/or financially imbalance the division's entire structure should he do a Jon Jones and price himself out, his contract apparently has 4 added fights to it now he's a Champ.. On the other hand you have Dana looking for the most likely star outside of the UFC right now(in a time the top drawers are seemingly dwindling), who has expressed interest in joining.. Seems there are a few options for AJ

1. He fights Pitbull in a rematch in a less popular and meaningful fight, but would still get decent views, warrant good pay and stall time, the negative is that if AJ loses the whole thing prolongs into a trilogy that imo still garners less attention than the first(Tournament winning) fight we saw tonight.

2. Remains and defends his belt against Borics/Jay Jay/Burnell or Pico potentially all 4 or others until his contract is finished.. All of these warrant little interest imo(no disrespect I just think AJ is on another level both in skill and as a marketable money maker), would demand a fuck load of money for AJ to risk these fights with little plus side other than Bellator Title Defence legacy

3. Joins UFC, fights for a title or top 3 fighter straight away, top $, top hype top top stuff.

4. Joins UFC and is nurtured slowly into the division, least likely scenario imo.

What says you?

EDIT: Also I get the objectivity of what the contract says, I just think

I think his rematch next with Lima is his last fight on contract. Coker is hoping Lima beats him cos he knows MVP will leave, like Chandler, Alveraz and Lombard did.

If he sparks Lima this time, he's definitely going to the UFC.

Dana could buy him lunch, but he can't afford him. That said, im sure Dana wants him, but Contacts are there for a reason.

Ufc needs to have a crossover to allow bellator matches to happen.
Once a year they should do a UFC v Bellator card
