Dana White on Arman: "You missed opportunities, and he did. We'll see how it plays out next year."

Maybe.

Dana and the UFC are going to put Arman through the wringer now.

He's going to be offered a non-title fight next. And there's no guarantee that he's going to make it through that one.

I guess do him vs. Chandler. Islam can face Topuria.

That’s why you take bouts especially a title shot if it’s offered to you. But but it was going to be a 2 month turn around….your job is a fighter, offered the biggest opportunity and denies it.

Jon Jones was offered a bout against Shogun Rua with a month turn around after his win against Bader, did he fucking say, No? He needs more time? A young and hungry Jones said yes, taking the title shot from his then training partner Jones.

Adesanya and Strickland both took a 2 month turn around from their bouts and guess what? They took the risk and captured gold also.

Taking risk is what separates greats from mediocre. Sucks for Armand, but this is going to be a cautionary tale on why you take risk.

Moicano took a risk tonight and it didn’t diminish his stock in the rankings.

I would assume Arman is going to get a surgery for his back next, so it'll be a while before he can fight anyway.

It makes me think that the ufc think it wasn't a legitimate pull out and he just couldn't make weight. Big oof.

I forgot that he had declined but wasn't that short notice? He wanted a full camp to prepare?

He fought in April fight offer was for July i think, can't remember.
