They can't be serious, I won't except that some people are that stupid. Lol, even if they're lying to themselves, deep down they know the truth.

You've heard of the phrase "hanging by the skin of your teeth"? Well now we've got "hanging by the skin of your eyelid," because that's exactly what was happening there. The flesh of the eyelid looked to be cut essentially all the way through, with only the eyeball-side skin holding Colby's eyelid together. Any significant shearing force at that point would have torn a hole through the eyelid if not torn it off. Good job by the doctor.

Things are different in Vegas = he's admitting he can bend the rules when he's on home turf. If he can influence what the refs do, that also means he can influence what the JUDGES do, read between the lines folks. That's a soft admission of the fact that they cook the scorecards regularly. Reyes was never getting his hand raised vs Jones in Vegas.

No he isn't. A huge cut on the forehead is nothing like a massive cut on the actual eyelid, itself, with that same eye also swelling shut.

That's an easy doctor stoppage anywhere but the bar in Roadhouse.
 
We got robbed of a legit tko. Colby was going to eat hooks and overhands in that 4th.

I’d take the Aldana cut over the Covington one. Eyelid cuts can lead to way more damage down the line. Scar tissue build up that damages the cornea, issues with tear ducts that lead to continuous eye infections.

Fair stoppage imo and I wanted to see Buckley do more 🤣
 
main problem was actually the blood loss and its effect on him being able to see and defend
the cut itself? we`ve seen way worse
 
It was a fine stoppage based on location and size of the cut. The fucking octagon looked like something out of A Nightmare on Elm Street. The only people who believe it was a bad stoppage are Colby superfans who thought he was going to turn it around, Colby haters who wanted to see him take further damage, and the Just Bleed Guy.

The worst part is that this stoppage "controversy" takes away from the master class that Buckley was putting on him.
