Just did som quick maths -

Dana makes about 20 million a year. If he cut that in half, and "only" made 10 million a year and gave the money to fighters, each and every fighter, on each and every every fight card, could get around 20-25.000$ extra pr. fight. (around 42 cards, around 10/12 fights pr. card).

I find this interesting when Dana and a lot of Sherdoggers talk about UFC not being able to afford to pay fighters more.

TBF no one ever said the UFC CAN'T pay fighters more.

The real question is why would they pay fighters more to do what they are already doing. The UFC is a business and they're going to pay fighters the least amount of money needed to fight. Fighters need to realize this and come negotiation times understand that they need to get as much money as possible built into their contracts.

I think he should hire more cheap regional fighters that he'll throw away and put on fight cards every other day. Would add more legitimacy to the UFC being the NFL/NBA/MLB/NHL/CFL/FIFA of fighting...... well except for those other sports better pay and unions, but other then that. Totally legit!!!!
