You can definitely tell who the UFC wants to win this one. Crazy because you have a UFC champ who has been knocking everyone out in the first round, and they want him out as quick as possible. Weird. Guess it's because he dared to renegotiate his contract, after beating challengers who were paid more than him.

I don't think it's because of the contract renegotiation but because Stipe is not into trash talk and seriously don't care about that. Unfortunately, UFC encourages trash talk , so obviously they are not on the same page there.

I like Stipe's attitude tho.. He's confident and is taking it all in stride. He's a normal guy outside of fighting and doesn't trash talk, it's a breath of fresh air in this day and age imo

Dana might not have liked Stipe wanting a better contract but when you are fighting the most dangerous fighters on earth for a living and not getting your just due you kinda deserve it
