With Jon Jones returning to the Octagon successfully at UFC 197, the fight everyone wants to see next is a rematch with Daniel Cormier.

'Bones', who already holds a unanimous decision win over Cormier, seized the interim light heavyweight title when he beat Ovince Saint Preux in last night's main event. The 28-year-old was stripped of the official belt after his involvement in a hit-and-run incident last year. In his absence, 'DC' picked up the vacant championship with a submission over Anthony Johnson and went on to establish himself as a respected champion by beating Alexander Gustafsson at UFC 192.

Dana White spoke to Brett Okamoto backstage at the MGM Grand and hinted that Jones/Cormier II could headline UFC 200 if both men are healthy.

"If they're both healthy, yea, it's a possibility that could be the main event of UFC 200," White said.

Ima say "no shit" to this.

hope it's true though.

Conor deserves the true thanks for making UFC 200 a solid card. He did all he could. lol

Will pay to see it.

I think the second fight will be even closer.

I look forward to it and hope that it headlines UFC 200. I hated a McGregor vs. Diaz II fight and hope that stays bye-bye.

But they missed out on the presser too, how can this be?

Still, quite an upgrade.

Absolutely right.....if they weren't at the presser, it wouldn't be fair to allow them to fight at UFC 200.....

Love this card If that's true. Plus isn't there still a co- main? I'm buying but if there is another fight, then yeah its up there with best cards imo

I was hoping this would be added to the card, not replace the main event.

That would be awesome, but perhaps too soon for Jones?

But ya, thats like going form eating the cold McDonalds left overs you found in the back seat to a prime rib dinner just like that.

....now we just have to get the UFC to spend 1/100th the time and effort they put into McGregor or Rousey on Jones promotionaly and we got a big seller.

Only fight left were I'll root for Jones. I hate watching Cormier's love handles shake

Highly doubt Cormier will be cleared in time to have a proper training camp for UFC 200.

I really don't know why they didn't save Cyborg's debut for UFC 200.
