Media Dana Hints USADA reason for Rumble Leaving

No one should let Rumble fight again in MMA. He officially roided his ass off while being "retired" and a lot of these effects stay. There are a lot of sports were he would receive a ban. Not a good look on Bellator.

Regarding Dana he is just the classic hypocritical liar he always was. Having Jon Jones as champ and talking down on someone for roiding <Lmaoo>

There's no way he wasn't on the juice for a solid 2 years so I dont blame him.

USADA hurting the UFC yet again, and helping the competition. Damn man, let them juice and bang. Pro sports deserve athletes that are willing to shorten their lives to be the best they can be in their primes.

You're not gonna care about the organ damage from peds when you don't even know where you are due to CTE.

Dana is playing you fools again. Rumble is going to clear out their LHW division. Why do you think people are avoiding Romero? Dana cut a beast that can easily go around and destroy competition in other orgs before age and injuries force him to retire.

Given all the bad PR fighters that have never popped have given USADA, the false positives that cost fighters years of their career and ruined their reputations, and how other orgs are paying competitively with UFC, I don't blame any fighter for not signing with the UFC.

Doesn't mean Rumble is on PEDs. He already was knocking nearly everyone out in the UFC with USADA already there in 2017.

Rumble had a good contract, getting half a mil every fight.
Probably a bit overpaid, although I'm a fan.

Rumble all class about UFC during his interview in Bellator earlier. Dana talks shit.

Also, since when does Dana cut a fighter of that caliber loose because they might pop? If he did pop, we would know it by now. We wouldn’t be talking about him fighting early next year. Dana also doesn’t mind keeping fighters under control while they are on suspension.

He probably didn’t have that many fights left in his deal, 2 or maybe 1 and Dana knows he doesn’t have the guns at LHW right now to have him in a disadvantage to lock him down to one of those 8 fights deals. In fact, Rumble would be a heavy favorite against each and every one of them. So, let him go..imply something and let the shills go to work
Yeah I'm guessing Rumble strongly wanted out and they didn't want him shaking up any divisions (I checked and he had 2 fights left on his contract.) I guess they could have given him throw away fights but at that point his name value is gone anyways.

LMFAO this guy sonned Dana. What a boss. How the fuck are you the president and you can’t give an answer? UFC is bush league. He should absolutely be worried about Bellator because they have at least 100 fighters on their roster you’d want. Remember SF buddy?? Would be the same all over again.

I'm guessing Bellator is paying close to that. Keep in mind his 500k payday was for a title fight but he didn't have show/win it was straight 500k.

Playing the fools? Letting a top 3 fighter go is playing you fools? Letting top talent in their prime walk is playing you fools? Even after admitting he would “love to have him”? You shills always manage to find a way to spin these things. You guys are creative I’ll give you that.

100 is a bit much lol.

I could see 50 maybe?

It may have been marijuana suspension, since after he left he went into the marijuana business.
Marijuana isnt gonna get in the way of wether they re-sign Crumble or not.

There's no doubt he was on something during that bodybuilding phase that he had. No idea whether he's still on something now, or whether that would still show in his system or whatever though.

I don't know the full story so I'm not gonna judge either way. I'll just watch the fights.

I really wonder how much more is Bellator payiing Rumble or are they matching UFC's contracted amount

No I’d say there’s at least 100 he’d sign right now no questions asked if they merged. There’s too many good fighters and prospects to ignore. He took pretty much the whole SF roster when they merged. Even Bobby Voelker got a few shots. Maximo Blanco KJ Noons pretty much everyone got signed.

If they merged they tend to honour the contracts they had so that's different. It wasn't like they actively wanted Isaac Vallie-Flagg or Roger Bowling.

So is it unrealistic for them to sign 100 out of like 300 high level fighters?
