Eh, that only has 934 votes whereas the one initially done had over 2200. It's silly to say that 934 can represent the thoughts of 40% of sherdog when a pole with about 2.5 times as many votes is already done.

Only a quarter rewatched which shows exactly what percentage are real MMA fans.

Don't get me wrong , Dana white has made mma what it is today and I'm sure he has his share off head aches. But how many different fighters has he said was probably the pound for pound best in the world , he almost says it every ppv to hype it up , even rousey is the biggest UFC star ever now.
Rogan is the best announcer out there but he needs to call the fights as it happens for both fighters . Enough of the favouring of one fighter during a fight

And just to be clear, each guy clearly won two rounds. So the first round is the one in question.

I am not a GSP hater or a Hendricks apologist. I am an mma fan. The first round could go either way, but I scored it (and the fight) for Hendricks.

GSP apologists can not admit that their boy might have lost the fight.

It could have been made moot if GSP had done the honourable thing and offered Hendricks a rematch. But GSP walked away instead. Showing GSP is not the classy guy his fans would have you believe...

The plot thickens. It's not very important but still fun to follow since there's no obvious reason why Ellenberger would lie about this. He's never been one to be very pro-GSP and saying this is definitely not increasing his chances to get a title shot.

There's a good reason hearsay is inadmissible in court.

This isn't hearsay, this would have been direct testimony if it was in court (Dana would be the one on trial, so to speak). Hearsay would have been if Ellenberger said that Nick Diaz (just an example) told him that Dana said that GSP won.

If your comment would have been correct then witnesses wouldn't be relevant in court proceedings.

That is way the judges opinion is the only thing that counts.

If GSP feels he legitimately won the fight, despite it being close, why does he owe an immediate rematch? His job is to place himself first, while he had indicated long before the fight that he was ready to step away from the sport.

The "classy" thing to do was to vacate the belt, which he did. From there, Hendricks proved that he had what it took to become champion, in that he learned from the GSP fight and actually rose to the occasion in round 5. This situation is a win win for everyone.
