Dana: GSP won rounds 1, 3, 5.

Has nothing to do with topic ... but, 40%+ of Sherdog had GSP winning. Sooo, bye.

Source on 40% + of Sherdog believing GSP won?

no doubt hendricks is a beast and won the fight on damage but round by round i could see it going to gsp or hendricks. I hate to admit that bc i was butthurt as a bj penn fan

well if that isn't a middle finger built to end the argument idk what is lol

I just posted a rd by rd breakdown (which is how scoring works) and 40% of Sherdog has GSP winning the fight. Sooo ... no?

I thought GSP won, but after re-watching, I think Hendricks won. 18 1.29%
I thought Hendricks won, but after re-watching, I think GSP won. 246 17.58%
I think GSP won both times I watched it. 333 23.80%
I think Hendricks won both times I watched it. 802 57.33%

That's the exact 2nd poll I was thinking of! 40% of Sherdog has GSP winning in that poll. The poll I already linked had 40% of people giving GSP round 1 .. which is the deciding round. I bet a poll that includes Rd. 1 with a 10-10 option has even more people concluding GSP remained Champ.

I didn't get the Hendricks won on damage and still don't get it. GSP's face looks like it normally does after he fights.

I had GSP winning the fight on first and only watch.

Also, why the fuck would Dana be randomly telling his employees how he scored the fight, but denying it when asked about it?

Was slightly over 40% when I saw it, now its 39.4% that score round 1 to GSP, which is the only round that is up for debate.

There is another Sherdog poll that was also 40% scoring round 1 for GSP. I am sure you can find it if you want.

Eh, that only has 934 votes whereas the one initially done had over 2200. It's silly to say that 934 can represent the thoughts of 40% of sherdog when a pole with about 2.5 times as many votes is already done.

delusion:
An idiosyncratic belief or impression maintained despite being contradicted by reality or rational argument, typically as a symptom of mental disorder

bias:
Inclination or prejudice for or against one person or group, especially in a way considered to be unfair

Add revanchism and you have the main ingredients for the Hendro won dat fight crowd.

As I have multiply stated:
- I scored it 28/27 Hendro (gave him rd. 1)
- I am however not delusional enough to state my opinion as a fact

Meh. If you don't submit or knock your opponent out you've got no reason to complain about decisions - finish the fight next time.
