Thought it was worth sharing what Dana had to say regarding Todd Duffee after his big return. Since it was only a Facebook fight he didn't really talk about it much but I for one was curious to hear what he said.

In the post-fight scrum he commented that Duffee had been "great to deal with" during and since his resigning. He said he "looked good" vs. De Fries and said "he's got a lot of potential". Regarding his release, he said basically that Duffee was making too many demands too soon into his career (wanted better pay and for them to cover his injury expense) but that it was all in the past and that the last 2 years taught Duffee how good it is in the UFC.

Nothing groundbreaking but with a KOTN bonus for Duffee and a good relationship with the boss again, the sky is the limit I think.

the UFC refused to pay for his injury bills?, and thats why he got released? i guess that tells alot of how the company treats its people

Duffee then took the role in Never Back Down 2 in order to pay for his knee surgery and Dana cut him.

I think Duffy has a bright future now. He seems to have been humbled and is working with great coaches at AKA training and getting coached by Cormier,Bob Cook, Cain.
You could see after he won how Cormier came in there and guided him...he could be a force in the future if he stays with them.

glad to hear they are on the same page now, look forward to his next fight

Hats off to Duffman.... he's young still, keep it up and a bright future

Was it the "Hammer Fist of Doom" that injured him? Or was it an injury in camp?

I would love to see him in there with HD or Kongo next.
