Both these guys are nothing more than glorified punching bags with bad tattoos..

Tai “the Turtle” is STILL completely helpless on the ground

Hooker talks a good game but come fight time, he just gets butchered…

Got the feeling Hooker is already suffering from CTE and his team needs to step in as he has no clue what is happening.

They need to either cut Tuivasa, or make him fight with a shirt on moving forward. I know it’s not the Ultimate Fitness Championship, but for Christ sake have some respect for yourself.

Hooker had a decent little run going before he got ran over by Tsarukyan. Now he can return to his place as a gatekeeper to the Top 10.

Both are in the wrong sport.

Tuivasa would do well under a ruleset where you can take breaks between each strike to rest and recalibrate. Something like #PowerSlap would be excellent for him.

Hooker would do well in PFC where strikes are more telegraphed and not as damaging.
Good to see you, pal

Hooker got butchered badly twice in the span of 2 and a half months. He should probably take the rest of the year off.

6 fight losing streak, last won 4 years ago, even took a year and a half off to improve (or so we'd expect) and that's the level of fight IQ and conditioning he came back with. Mix that with the fact that he's got no other weight class to go to and that means Tai better think about whether he's retiring, or just in it to keep getting checks with the occasional hope of getting a knockout in unranked matches, but either way, he shouldn't have a number anymore and any consideration of being a contender is well over.

Hooker has decent meat and potatoes and he's got heart for days, so it'll be enough to outwar guys who aren't ready to be real dogs, but that's it. Means he could still keep a rank for catching hype off of some prospects, but he probably shouldn't be fighting up into any potential contenders for a while at least
