Dan Hardy should replace Joe Rogan

No knowledge of mma? Joe rogan has a bjj black belt, a TKD black belt and has seen more fights than probably any former fighter... i think he has solid mma knowledge

I'm tired of this pseudo intellectual hack with no knowledge of MMA trying to pass himself off as some sort of analyst

Hire Dan Hardy now. The guy's analytical skills are excellent, and he's more pleasant to listen to

Dan Hardy should replace you..

I used to like Rogan. He is just so damn biased towards certain fighters. And he's slow at calling things. I haven't trained anything and I call things better/sooner than he does. That's sad.

He's had his time. I think Hardy would be a great replacement.

lmfao you're a clown. Joe Rogan knows so much about MMA and has been connected to it for decades. I believe hes a black belt in two different disciplines? jujitsu and tai kwon do? dan hardy has given him praise as well for being an amazing analyst

I don't dislike Hardy, but he would need a lot of work before attempting to replace Rogan.

I keep hearing how Hardy is some sort of great analyst yet he makes a lot of Captain Obvious statements and takes a lot of Joe's theories.

Rogan is not going anywhere, unless he decides to leave... as was stated before, he is synonymous with the UFC brand. Is he irreplaceable, well no one is... but he is as close to irreplaceable as anyone in the company. Dana White is the only person in the UFC with greater brand association than Rogan.

His voice, likeness and commentary, whether you appreciate it or not, are instantly recognizable as the UFC product, and not some other organization. When you spend 3 hours listening to a PPV, you may get to watch the fighters, and hear them for a few minutes, but Rogan is the voice you listen to for the full 3 hours...

Imagine tuning into a Bellator broadcast on Spike TV, and Rogan was the commentator.. the audience would right away associate it with the UFC product... more than any fighter on the UFC roster... sure, Conor would be a massively greater draw... but it is conceivable he could fight for another promotion... Rogan on the other hand would create a great deal of brand confusion if he were to leave... the UFC will not let that happen...

It's not something to boost me. Just pointing out that his knowledge isn't far beyond an avid fans. At least it's no portrayed through his commentary.
I'm honestly blown away at how ridiculous some of these comments are

There are plenty of people that know the sport better than Joe. Just because he is a commentator, it doesn't mean other people can't understand the sport on the same level or better.

I don't know people on these forums personally, and there are quite clearly some that don't understand the sport. On the other hand, there are fans here that know the sport as well as or better than Rogan. Most of which would probably call a fight fairly as opposed to being stuck on one fighter.

I like the guy. But think he is on the level of Stann if not a step behind !!!

You've never trained any sort of martial arts, have zero experience, and think you know or see more than you actually do.

The audacity and unbelievable arrogance to think that you as a fan without any experience doing martial arts can know more than people who've been doing It their entire lives. Whether It's Joe or anyone else.

I've been watching / training since early pride days. I'm not saying you can't have a great deal of knowledge about a sport by simply watching. There Is obviously a depth of understanding, knowledge and wisdom that comes from deep experience. This is true for everything, not just martial arts.

if we let 2-3 month old accounts create threads, we're going to keep getting shitty threads
