Have you read the Old Testament?
Pretty early on, Abraham deceives the Pharoah and Abimelech, and prospers as a result. In between those stories, Abraham even successfully haggles God himself in the story of Sodom and Gomorrah.
Jacob then cons Esau out of his inheritance, but it turns into a message of “be cunning, but not toward those that you are related to. Esau also shows forgiveness to his kin”.
These are foundational texts. Pretty much all of Genesis celebrates the cunning, ingenuity, and success of their forefathers, but emphasizes the importance of respecting people related to yourself (other Jews).
Is it antisemitic to acknowledge these things?
