Non accidental murders get sentences of 20-25 years all the dang time. So I use that as a measuring stick. It’s rough watching people convicted of heinous premeditated and horrifically violent 1st degree murder get 25 years.

That’s a slap in the families face.

I can't speak on those 1st degree murderers who get 25 years. That's ridiculous, that should carry a minimum life sentence. As far as this woman goes, I'd be okay with 20. 7-15 is way too short a sentence. This innocent man lost his life and now his family has to grieve for the rest of theirs. That's no joke, that's a very serious matter. Not only does she need to be punished, a strong punishment would hopefully act as a potential deterrent for future incidents. People need to think before they act, their are genuine accidents, this wasn't one of them, this was about as recklessly negligent and brainless as it gets, and their need to be harsh consequences for those actions.

They say they want individual rights but some right wingers who espouse those views happen to also cite crime stats as a reason to discriminate against blacks. You can't say you're for individual rights and then judge people based on statistics associated with their race. You yourself have done something similar.

So? The stats show that black men commit a ton of crime, and as 5% of the population they commit 50% of the murders in America.

They are being treated fairly. We can’t just let criminals get away with crime to make liberals happy.

To be fair you didn't explicitly call for discrimination in these posts but at the same time its not hard to make some assumptions as to why you're bringing these stats up.
