Crime Dallas Officer Kills Man in Apartment "She Thought Was Hers"

Damn Sgt. Robert Watson threw her under the bus a bit. A suspect was escaping custody and was missing, and she didn't notify the on-shift supervisor and instead called him, so he called Internal Affairs on her.

Yea I was really surprised by that.

Meme's saying things like:

- "I wear all black to remind you not to mess with me because I'm already dressed for your funeral".

- "No one ever thanks me for having the patience not to kill them"

and then that standard blue line us vs them police meme you see.
<6>

Man, if they're legit, she's gonna get annihilated in sentencing.
To be fair I don't know how much weight those should be given. I think the sharing and commenting on those kinds of memes isn't an indication of the kind of cop she is on the job but rather the fact that most people identify strongly with their occupation, more so cops, and so she's going to gravitate towards those memes just because they're cop memes. When it comes to politics its not uncommon to see grim jokes by left wingers about gulags and by right wingers on free helicopter rides but its really just memes and nothing more the vast majority of the time.

I really don't think Guyger is a cold blooded, hard ass cop like those memes might imply. If anything I'd bet if her department wanted to pull a "good cop, bad cop" routine she'd be the "good cop" on the basis of being so nonthreatening as a petite blonde woman.

Wait what's the source for this? And what's the specific relevance beyond showing she's kind of unfit for the gig?

This is the Punishment Phase, so the lawyers get to get "final statements" from some of the witnesses while the jury listens, and before the jury themselves decide on what sentence to give out. Her supervisor, Botham's mom, etc have been speaking. Been watching/listening at work.

Yeah, I think it's dirty pool, and sentencing should be based on the crime, and not her social media presence from months or even years earlier. Still though, if the judge is allowing it to be entered for consideration, she's absolutely fucked. I could see those messages bumping up her sentence from like 25 years to 99, easily. They'll make her a psychopathic danger to society in the jury's mind.

Those boot ass meme's are the worst thing to ever happen to the mallninja community.

Wowwwwwww those text messages have killed her-

-The MLK parade is dead when he was.
-Would love to have a racist dog.
-Texts about black colleagues having lesser work ethic.

Man I think it's over for her. Sentencing is gonna be rough.

You can’t even walk into someone’s home randomly, & shoot them dead anymore?

What the hell is this country coming to?

Oh', she's at least getting 40 now.

Why not bring those into the actual trial though? Seems like it would've been pertinent to the prosecution's case, to destroy her babe in the woods demeanor in the courtroom.

Pretty disturbing trend on Twitter and Facebook of people celebrating this. Not because of the victim, but because she was a cop. There's a lot of nonsense about "finally" a black person gets justice. It's silly, and peddling that false narrative is taking away from the family of the guy who died here. It should be about their loss.

Yea they're talking about it right now. She also said she'd use pepper spray to get people out of her way. There would have been no chance had it went in during the trial, but at least they mentioned it here. Guyger is about to hit the stand again now in a couple of minutes.

Then make it about their loss and stop talking about strangers on Twitter. Nothing's stopping you.

After this, I won't be surprised if she gets 50 years. She's done.

There are sentiments similar to these right here in this thread.

How do you get that idea? What bait? This was a terrible tragedy and I haven't said any different.

Always remember the police bent over backwards to defend a convicted murderer.

Remember that when people say there is a disconnect between law enforcement and the general public. There is clearly a disconnect and it’s becasue of the police and their shit culture.
