Crime Dallas Officer Kills Man in Apartment "She Thought Was Hers"

<JagsKiddingMe>

So because one dude also forgets what floor he parked in and went to the wrong apartment, that means is normal?

I want a damn survey of every person on that building to see if how many people do this "mistake".

That was already brought that up, they claimed 35% of the building tenants had went to the wrong floor.

Seems like an easy mistake to make. Doesn't justify killing someone.

She most definitely has a right to meet with her union rep and attorney but they don't have the right to come to the crime scene, shut off the cameras and pull their client out of the police car.
I see. That goes beyond, yeah. That’s unethical and I wasn’t aware it went down like that.

But I still find more fault on people higher up. After a fatal shooting you have a detective or IA investigator to question the suspect right away, not some boot who’s gonna roll over for the union rep. So what stinks here goes way beyond the union rep, who’s already (by virtue of his position) a guy I wouldn’t trust or expect to be impartial in this situation.

However much they're paying this guy, they should ask for their money back. He's not doing a very good job at lying.

WTF....This dude forgets how many staircases he walked up and then goes into the wrong room....wtf?

Sorry this guy is a fucking dumbass..........Totally irrelevant

Guy leaves the door of his apartment unlock...That's all I need to know about his IQ.

That's why people have been saying the whole thing has been fishy from the start. It's obvious the police department was trying to protect her.
There's other things like the Dallas PD going on an immediate smear campaign saying he had marijuana and a grinder in his apartment. There was no reason for them to release that other than to try to paint Jean in a bad light.

Eh I did the same when I would walk my dog. The crazy thing is not knowing how many stairs he walked up. This dude was probably high as a kite.

Tbf, I’ve gotten off the elevator on the wrong floor in multiple hotels in Vegas and then shot at people who startled me.

No, she did give em instructions.....She said "Let me see your hands! Let me see your hands!"...

Not that makes such a difference, if Im a citizen in my own home and some fucker out of nowhere just ask me "let me see your hands!Let me see your hands!", I can assume this fucking Burglar/Rapist/Murderer/etc just wants me to put my hands up so they will feel safe and I will be completely exposed with my hands up, which gives the intruder all the power....so fuck following commands from an unknown person

If the guy in his home was armed, and blasted her when she made the request of "Let me see your hands! Let me see your hands!"....I wouldn't have blamed him, fuck following orders from intruders, that is real self defense lol.
If we give her the benefit of the doubt it's still manslaughter. "Oh, I was overworked and distracted by being horny trying to set up a bootycall, it was an accident." Ok, we believe you, it wasn't premeditated because the guy was a noisy, stinky, or "racial" neighbor. She still killed a completely innocent person.

The only way it's manslaughter is if we believe that he charged her in the hallway and one bullet somehow entered his chest at a downward angle (even though she's shorter than him) while the other bullet lodged in the wall on the other side of the room.

If even one of those things is inaccurate, it becomes murder. If he didn't charge her, it's murder. If the bullet entered at a downward angle because he was seated or kneeling, it's murder. If the second bullet entered the wall because she actually shot him by the couch and not in the hallway, it's murder.

This apartment complex sounds like fucking trash. Who would want to live here?

- Bums inside - check
- Bums at pool - check
- People walking into your apartment - check
- People letting dogs pee in hallway - check
- People looking into your apartment - check.

I heard on the radio yesterday that her defense claims it's something like 20+ percent of the inhabitants on their specific floors have made the same mistake. I actually made this same mistake once, when I went down for my mail, I used the stairs instead of the elevator to come back up and walked up one flight less. It's a doorman building, and my downstairs neighbor has adjoining apartments and keeps her doors unlocked, so I opened the door and was about 2 steps in when I realized the paint and furniture were wrong. Nobody noticed but I walked back out and up to my apartment embarrassed at having violated someone else's space. Honest mistake but if I had killed my neighbor because she startled me I should have gone to prison.

Was it that high? IIRC it was under 20% building wide and a bit over if you consider their specific floors.
