There is no rule in Muay Thai where it says you must stand in an upright, back leg heavy, stationary stance. He's not wrong though, that sideways on hands down style is not really Muay Thai (based on the older martial art Muay Boran) even if you can use it in Muay Thai (the ruleset and popular sport from Thailand). The stance of Muay Thai is pretty distinctive and does not look anything like Gane's stance.
Muay boran does have eye goughing. stance looks a bit Overeem/mma ishAbsolutely not. It looks pretty Karate/Taekwondo/Savate inspired.
he seemed to be doin aight minus where he puttin his fingersYeah, pretty strange he bangs guys left right and center to submission, but the best Guy he faces in Aspinall bleeds as if hes a power Guy.
I somehow think our French fighter cranked it Up a nod

No but there is a traditional Muay Thai style. You can bring whatever style you want for sure but if you go to Thailand and learn from a Kru then you will be be taught the typical Muay Thai stance not a sideways on hands down stance. There is no rule in Muay Thai where it says you must stand in an upright, back leg heavy, stationary stance.

His style is MMA. They ALL do MMA. Do they not. Is he purely looking for subs.Charles Oiveria's style is not BJJ because he throws punches.

Muay Thai was the first combat sport he trained, he started when he was 24, just to get fit. BTW, muay thai has many styles.I am not a muay thai stylist but it doesn't take a genius to see his footwork and movement has NOTHING to do with Muay Thai. In fact it's the total opposite of MT. He just picked that as his sport for full contact stand-up.
Based on your guys experience and observations, what is Ganes actual style? (besides Snake Fist) Is it Savate?
He has never trained savate or anything other thanMuay Thai. He was a pure Muay Thai fighter who adapted to MMA.Probably Savate with some Muay Thai influence.
