She actually seems very chill/humble/sincere in this interview at the TUF 28 tryouts for female 145ers...

Each time I hear Cyborg's voice it sounds worse. It's definitely a marketing obstacle.

But of course she's happy here. Her next victim is likely in the room.

The only 2 champs that were ever very appealing to the general population were Gina Carano and Ronda.

Even Amanda comes off badly.

She's extremely chill, and seems like a good person all around. Much of the hate is from immature losers, honestly.

Would you let her put it in your butt?

She abused steroids beyond belief. She probably is a nice person but you can't expect ppl to love her when she is a clear cut cheat.
If every other chick in wmma was juicing then maybe it isnt such an issue. The girls she fights are severely disadvantaged by her previous cheating

Stanozolol?

You think that’s a real steroid?

All the little beta males may cry about Cyborg using steroids but you can bet they cheer for other fighters who have popped far more recently. Funny stuff.

I especially like how they all think that doing a cycle of anything will give you gains for life.

If that were true then the commissions would have to ban anyone caught for life.

She's a really nice lady, I believe she sincerely has a great big heart, and I'd be happy to meet her. Just don't care for her passed steroid use, which has obviously benefitted her in the long run. Im not saying she isn't a hard worker, just that they've caused obvious enhancements in her performances.

Stanozolol, like most male hormones, has very different effects on women than it does on men.

"Whereas men typically incorporate Winstrol only into cutting cycles as a way to burn body fat, keep gains, and harden muscles, women can use it for bulking since their bodies respond differently to above-average levels of dihydrotestosterone, or DHT. Even the smallest boost puts their bodies into anabolic overdrive and creates the perfect atmosphere for building muscle."

It's almost like they're perceiving some difference between a man using steroids to beat up other men and a woman using enough steroids to turn herself into a man in order to beat up women.

I don't know why. Everyone should be treated and viewed equally, regardless of sex. We should enjoy watching natural, feminine women get beaten down by physically-altered, masculine women just as much as any other sort of fight.

It's really strange that so many of us still have an aversion to such a thing in this day and age.

Of course Cyborg gets hate. The internet is full of insecure men whose dick's shrink when a female does anything remotely athletic. They need to portray her as a nasty, mean, cheating woman to feel masculine. In real life she seems to be a role model for young women and charitable towards her community. Some people just don't like her style, which is fine, but there are plenty other men who feel threatened by her IMO.

If Serena Williams were a fighter instead of a tennis player I can't Imagine the hot takes Sherdog would provide.
