I think you're misunderstanding.

My contention isn't with just the new consoles. It's with all of them.

Not to mention just because the next gen version doesn't release till next year doesn't mean they aren't using their limited resources now to work on them now, which clearly appears to be the case.

On the flip side, millions of console sales for the Witcher series helped fund this game.

Yep one of the top things that stopped me from gaming on PC after doing it for most of my life. Luckily I found a solution for all of that though.

Still mad that MGSV didnt snatch a bunch of GOTYs over TW3. I also wish Bloodborne snatched a majority of the GOTYs that year.

I can't say it effects me that much because there's no way I was gonna play this on last-gen consoles but that's what's probably holding this thing back at the same time.

This game is supposed to work on the Xbox One.. lol. That shouldn't be a thing. Would have been better if they just released the game in 2021 for next-gen only.

This game will be a mess on current gen consoles. Its clear to me at this point the game is in real trouble on the base xbox and ps4. I mean we have yet to even see what the game looks like on those consoles. I'm avoiding this game like the plague until the PS5 version is out. I was excited at first but I'm not going to pay 60 bucks to be a beta tester.

The frames in their promotional material have been bad outside of the prerendered stuff. Even their latest videos about the gangs and such. If their promotional material is having performance issues what's the actual game going to be like?

Something is wrong under the hood still and is likely has everything to do with trying to develop simultaneously for every single platform in existence even fucking stadia.

I uninstalled Bannerlord. Played it for like 100hrs, but I'm gonna wait for them to "finish" it somewhat, and the mods are hammered out, not causing gotdamn crashes!!!

I was lucky, I never had crashing issues. I think in like 200 hours of play I've had about 3 crashes. The mods are slowly trickling out. I'm just waiting for proper diplomacy and more armour mods.

I don't think there's actually any legit 60fps footage of this game and I find that odd. It's hard to trust some of these Youtubers, they fake it for views.
