They want more time to make 12 versions for every single platform including the new ones coming out.

Again, the versions for the new consoles were already announced to be coming at a later date next year.

They clearly aren’t ready and keep underestimating and over promising which is leading to them looking ridiculous.

You mean the first announced release date, or when the game itself was announced? Because that was like 2013. Can't recall the first stated release date, though.


EDIT: Looked it up and I think the first announced release date was April. Then September, November and now December.

I think TLOU is gonna sweep GOTYs, even if Cyberpunk was out. Cyberpunk will not be as good as people are expecting, imo. Im expecting something special, but the scope has been reduced year on year and it feels like theyve overshot still.

I guess it’s just semantics then. They aren’t releasing a next gen version any time soon. They need to ensure it’s playable on the next gen systems though which I doubt is an issue.

More likely they’re coming across a lot more issues the more they’re testing.

I think you're misunderstanding.

My contention isn't with just the new consoles. It's with all of them.

Not to mention just because the next gen version doesn't release till next year doesn't mean they aren't using their limited resources now to work on them now, which clearly appears to be the case.
