And I agree with everyone else here, nobody really wants to see Hatton and Mayweather rematch. Id like to see Hatton take on winnable challenges, Id like to see Mayweather take on real challenges.

Cortez was actually breaking the clinch BEFORE the clinch even happened, breaking them on his ANTICIPATION of an impending clinch. Cortez prevented Hatton from working inside where Hatton does his best work. No knowledgeable boxing fan worth his salt can refute that Cortez played a big part in how that fight went. That's not sour grapes; that's the truth.

I still wouldn't want to see a rematch though.

Either because the Sherdog site froze my post so I made two by accident, or because I like doing things in pairs rather than in sigles.

I agree 100% with this, Hatton sucks at 147. Well he won a world title there so that's a bit strong but is he as effective as he is at 140lbs? Not even close.

Which makes me pose the question why did the first fight go so long.

I would like to have seen the fight at 140 but Mayweather is P4P fighter here so he won't come down now just like he didn't then because he didn't have to.

As guts go fighting the best P4P at a weight which removes your main weapon (your strength) is pretty impressive for me.
 
anyone can win if they're allowed to hit and hold for 12 rounds.
