I finally got a tracking number. BTW mine isn't custom I just like the red pair :)

Yeah, looks like it... Just cannot find it in the Winning colour options, but definitely not all colours are in rakuten options...
Btw WINE 16 oz. Winning on ebay from Italy. Nice, but not much impressed...

Wine, from Italy lol.

It's kinda like a dark pink or something.

These gloves are absolutely new, the same construction, the same foam as any 8 oz. Winning lace up, simply classic MS-200 (8 oz. PRO type). Just the vintage appearance. They have several models like this on JPN rakuten, some have PRO foam.

PRO foam as in PRO brand gloves?

PRO foam as in PRO brand gloves?

Winning call "PRO" their lace-up gloves (those used by many top boxers). The foam in velcro gloves used to be different, but now it is the same in both MS line glove: MS gloves (lace up) and MS-B (the same as MS, but velcro). All those (lace up MS and velcro MS-B) all are called PRO. On the other hand there are Amateur gloves with a different foam composition and the Soft Type gloves have a diferent foam too.
So Winning PRO gloves are MS and MS-B, those are the gloves 99% people buy.
The foam difference is partly described and illustrated in my Winning Amateur gloves review

I just emailed Rakuten and they said Shiny Gold is being discontinued and they only have non-shiny gold.

I think I might get a pair of red/gold gloves at the end of the month and maybe a FG2900.

That vintage style is sexy as hell. Its making me want to embrace gear whoring again!

Do the vintage gloves come in 16 oz or just smaller pro-friendly sizes? I would totally pick up a pair in that style if they make them large enough.

Usually not, just in 8 oz. and even those are most of the time out of stock. Email [email protected] attach the picture and ask, I believe they can arrange it with Winning. But expect a higher price than a standard colour MS pair costs.

anyone know why when Mayweather fought Gatti why his red wining gloves didnt have that gold label around the sign making them the official 8 or 10 oz fight gloves???

Winning can make (in some case) whatever you wish. They even make their gloves for some JPN brands without their logo except the one on the wrist.
The older models didn't have the gold label
True.

Maybe they changed the design after 2005 when he fought Gatti?

His fight in 2004 with DeMarcus Corley the gloves dont have the ring either.
