Thanks! Choosing the color was more difficult then shelling out the dollars. Lol.

Quintana is at the gym i go to in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, currently sparring with me (working more on his jab and defense, since I'm 15) and my friend http://www.fighthype.com/pages/content11573.html?utm_source=dlvr.it&utm_medium=twitter he's 16, but his record is tremendous with 120 something wins and 9 or 10 losses. Quintana goes a little harder on him. Lol.

Surprisingly quintana uses a cheek protector (don't know what brand) and hits the bag with everlast MX gloves, not a hint of winning. Except the groin guard.

So many different directions to go with custom gear, it's hard to choose.

Have you trained in Puerto Rico enough to know the top guys in amateur boxing? To be honest, i think I'll be the only one in the island to have a custom fg 5000. Lol

I live in New York but I have family in Moca. To be honest, I don't know anything about the amateur scene Puerto Rico.

I'm sure you'll make a lot of people on the island jealous.

We went to Brooklyn new york a few weeks ago, there was a tournament. And everybody in our camp won. I saw a few fights with white knuckle winnings, i found that very interesting

In the US youre allowed to compete in your own amateur gloves right? Over here we have to use the event's gloves. Maybe someone brought them and they're USA approved then huh.. I recently saw an old youtube video of I forget who fighting amateur with a Winning headguard on

Small club shows you can use your own gear, tournaments you have to use their gloves; I think you can use use your own headgear as long as it has the sticker on it.

Tell me how it is while sparring, i just think the gloves are so soft it wouldn't back anybody up. But i don't know.

And yes, i do have some 10oz winnings, an fg 2900 and soon an fg 5000

Every sanctioned fight I've had, the gloves were provided (these were non-tournament fights). I don't believe you can use your own gloves in a sanctioned event. Exhibition/smokers are a different story obviously, but I wouldn't call them a small club show. The headgear is provided by you/your gym, and just needs to be USA Boxing approved.

Ordered on the 29th. They said it would take 3-4 weeks to make and ship it. No shipping notice given out, but there was tracking (not given out either) and I had to sign for it. Package came in on the 20th, but I wasn't there to pick it up until today. So about 3 weeks, 2 days for creation and delivery.

Here are the pictures and a comparison with a FG5000 I bought direct from Winning USA. It is definitely the real deal. Don't know if the gold half is real leather, but it doesn't look like the type that would be discolored easily. Came in a Winning box with a brown paper sheath so you can use the box as decoration and a tag in Japanese.
