Steve the rakuten guy emailed me back on 9 questions i had it was excellent. One of the questions was about the leather and he says they can make your gloves real or synthetic leather upon request. My guess is real leather is 100x better so why would anyone request synthetic? Also thanks carl for the lettering info...all the options you listed were the free ones?

Yes, those are all free through Rak.

Only four reasons someone may prefer synthetic over leather gloves: allergy, animal rights, just to be different or finally wanting the finish to exactly replicate the synthetic headgear/box.

For everyone else, it only makes sense to stick with their leather gloves which are the best (though have a very faint and almost plasticy smell compared to the great saddle smell of Cletos).

The Winning Synthetic used to make their other gear is top notch too, for what it's worth.
 
Does anybody know how to order embroidery, or screen print from Rakuten? Or do i have to tell Steve so he could add it. I'm about to order, but i would love to have my name on it.

I'm getting a silver fg 5000 with green ears, and i was hoping green embroidery.

I realized Rakuten doesn't ship to Puerto Rico, so I'll have to order it to Florida, then from florida over here.

I would've loved it if i had the headgear sooner, now that Carlos "el Indio" Quintana is around my gym sparring with us. Hard hitting southpaw that won by knockout in his last fight, and my fg 2900 could only do so much.

When you order you will have a box for comments before confirming. In there write the color, font and what you want written. For instance...."Please PRINT in CAPS "SKRIBBLE" on the LEFT side of the headgear". You could include in an email to Steve too, but this is the primary way to do it.

Did you ask if they ship to Puerto Rico?

If you put some custom details in the comments they will email you back to confirm so don't worry about them not getting it right.

Thanks! I never went that far in to realize there was a comment box, i didn't ask if they shipped to Puerto Rico, although it's not listed I'm sure they do. To avoid miscommunication and expensive international shipping costs, I'll just send them to my parents in Florida, ask them to bring it for me next time they come over, wich would be right around when the headgear should arrive.

I still haven't got my gear from winning after ordering about 6 weeks ago. He is no longer responding to my emails.
I live in London so calling will be expensive, I feel I shouldn't have to spend even more money than I already have on getting this gear.

Any suggestions?
 
Contact Winning Japan via the English contact email address. Give them your order number and ask them what the status is.
