custom winning gear.

No, absolutely genuine. I have my last pair from there (4th pair of Winning in my life) - definitely genuine.

No shipping issues, quality issues, craftsmanship issues, payment issues?

My MS-500s cleared customs yesterday so should be arriving today. I'll report back, I am fully expecting them to be exactly the same as my gloves from Kaz but there is still a small element of doubt until I get them in my hands. Stay tuned....

I'll be waiting, Thanks! But since today is elections day, isn't everything closed? Cause In Puerto Rico everything is closed for the day.

Not at all, absolutely fine. Let's wait for the Carl's post when he gets his gloves so I am not the only one who confirms the gloves are the same as from Kazumichi. I got MS-500 too by the way.

Okay Carl, let us know whats up. And thanks shihtzu. The customs and shipping to canada may pose an issue though. I'm assuming to Canada that I'd be paying the up to 300g shipping price of 14 bucks since 10oz (the size I want) is only 284g upon converting from google. But then it goes on to say your customs and overboarder shipping is not included...I have a feeling I'm not really saving money if I buy from here even though it makes it seem like the gloves are 24600 yen = 304 canadian plus the 14 shipping of 318...I feel like over the boarder may bring it beyond the actual winning price...

If not then this is a steal because you're getting a custom color for less than the price of regular...which is hard to believe.

By the way, have you gotten any of your winnings from there custom shihtzu? Is the gold from Kaz and the Gold from these guys the same, etc...? Thanks a lot man. Really helping me out :)

Also seems weird how their 14oz gloves ms500's are cheaper than their 10oz ms300's... no fair

So the gloves are here and the jump I took on behalf of the Sherdog Community (Don't worry, I am being facetious here) has proved a success. They are 100% authentic, $76 cheaper than Winning USA and the customer service was 10/10. Ordered Thursday night (Friday in Japan) and received the gloves Tuesday (today) after a one day delay in customs. This is amazingly quick especially given the fact that I had mine customized.

I just included two pics, and for comparison/to show authencity included my 8oz Winnings which are part of a stash I bought from Kazumichi's L.A. showroom. I can include more if anyone would like (but bare in mind I'm bad with technology).

For all the questions re Rakuten, everything they get done (be it custom colors, printing or what have you) is actually done at the Winning Factory. The blue script on the other side of my gloves looks great, and I'm looking forward to putting these perfect black ones into the rotation.

Finally, note the invaluable Winning box atop the picture (it comes wrapped in an outer layer, maintaining its perfection). This comes free with any Rakuten order and shows Japanese craftmanship at its finest. :icon_lol:

When I have more time various reviews will come, but may not be for a few weeks at least.

The shipping weight of 10 oz. is appx. 2x 284g (2 gloves) plus about 300g for the box. So up to 1kg.
No, I am afraid all my Winning were standart colours... But the custom colours will be the same from both for sure - America-Ya is just a JPN dealer, everything is made in the Winning factory anyway.

Great gloves, Carl! Congratulations!

Thanks buddy, I must say the black is better than any other black glove I've owned and that unique new Winning smell is very nice.

Your feedback re Rakuten was spot on, they are a hell of an outfit who work directly with the Winning factory. The customizing really pops.

Absolutely mate no worries at all. Certainly looking forward to seeing your fully custom gear- it's going to be immense.

I'm sure this has been posted, but how much did it cost for screen print thru rakuten, the winning company does screen print for $10 for gloves and $5 for headgear and cup

Didn't want to see this thread die, so here's a bump

Koki Kameda's black/dark pink set and I think I see a sky blue fg5000 and gloves at the end.

Hasegawa's white/pink gloves

I'm really digging the black/hot pink.

I think I might get myself a pair all black lace up gloves, that way I can make myself different color hook and loop converters whenever I want to switch it up a little.

Thanks carl for the authenticity check and thanks shihtsu for the shipping check...didnt account for 2 gloves and the box properly at all...guess raku is the place to be for winning now

Also carl the black 14 oz is sold out so you must have bought the last one lol great job

I told them winning offers a leather buckle strap free of charge and asked if they could apply this. They told me "Winning may provide leather buckle strap".

Wow. I guess I'm gonna have to settle with the plastic clip. No big deal.

Big props to Carl for all the information posted in this thread (and the pics). Thank you very much!

Also, thanks to rskbreaker for the videos. Top stuff.
