custom winning gear.

Where do you guys find custom fg 5000's? I can't seem to find any of them listed. Only the regular colors.

Sweet! So will the price be the same if i get multiple colors? I really wanted to try the buckle strap on the headgear, but i don't think rakuten offers that, I'm gonna have to stick with the plastic clip. No big deal.

And another thing, that link of the custom 2900.. Did you check the sizing? It says they offer a size small.. winning don't make a size small.

My advice is just to contact them using the contact store link to ask about the buckle. They already put in my non-shiny gold color on my headgear (it wasn't listed but they changed it for me). The size small might be a mistake on their part as the measurements are not included in the description on the bottom.

As you posted before, you ordered non shiny gold with red. Having ordered 2 colors, did the price increase?

Dear Sir,

But the material of the color is now out of stock, and it cannot be provided.

It is, they say, rather easier to be discolored and they will not provide it any more.

Someone got Top Kings in a similar colour and their gloves started to fade in like a month. So that could be the case, or they could be politely saying that is Canelo's colour and no one else can get it.

It could be because of the fading, because i have seen a small clip of pacquiao sparring with somebody wearing that neon yellow color on YouTube.
 
So Skribble, have you committed to buying through Rakuten? Has anyone other than Shitzu bought through them? Is the price conversion and shipping charges accurate?

I am wanting to add a black pair to join my white Winnings but am still trying to decide if the Rakuten savings are worth the "risk".

Btw, RaggleFraggle, big thanks for posting the info I was wondering earlier in the thread.

I'm looking to order around the December-February time frame cause I'm moving from Puerto Rico to Florida, also shipping will be less. I'll be sure to update once all the charges apply

One thing we have to inform you is that teh shiny gold you indicated as

is the non-shiny gold, which material is artificial gold.

Currently WINNING does not have it as its material, but genuine leather
instead, which looks little a bit different.

It is subdued gold, and harder to be disclored than shiny gold.

They said the same thing with my non shiny gold, but they said they would substitute it with a different gold that didn't fade as fast that was in stock. Fine with me as long as it's not the gold that fades fast.

If you really want the neon yellow, you could do what the pros do and shell out big bucks for them to mix the colors again (unless it was really bad and they don't want people complaining more).

So far they have charged my credit card and put the order through Winning to start making it.

"Dear Sir,

Please be informed that the estimated shipping cost of EMS
service is JPY1680. It will be ready for shipment within
3 weeks.

With regard to the font of the letter, sorry to say, Trajan Pro
is not prepared by WINNING. If you provide us with the file
of the font, WINNING may arrange it for you with some additional
charge.

Thank you for understanding and response."

Red left ear, white left side, red right side, white right ear

It'll match my IMF tech Sparring gloves enroute and my future grants.

The thing about winning is:they didn't ask me where or how big I'd like my screen print to be. With Rakuten I was specific down to the font and they're prompt(2 days for this order) to let me know how long it'll take to make.

I just wish I had more confidence I'll get my custom set from winning in the next month or so-especially since a buddy of mine told me yesterday that he placed a custom order, they charged his card, but he still hasn't received his gear or a response in 3 months!

But we'll see, hopefully my buddy was just one-of-those isolated cases

I'm pretty sure those Rakuen guys regularly communicate to Winning Japan for us and don't have to go through Kazumichi.

Don't know about your buddy, but I hope he manages to locate everything.

Nah man, I'm not gonna shell out an extra one or two hundred dollars just for a color.

I'm happy you're getting your order. Also, what colors go well with gold that rakuten offers? Too many people have an all gold headgear.

It's up to you, I would experiment with a few color combinations and see what you like after a few days. Definitely stick to colors you are really fond of. Gold can go well with anything.
